A shop name is the beginning
Along Main Street and Camp Wisdom Road, the customer entrance may differ from a delivery or staff door. Give the street number, suite and entrance involved rather than relying on the trading name. Say where an authorized contact will meet.
Describe an ordinary lock, key or handle issue in everyday words. Electronic access systems, shared gates and specialist commercial doors need separate confirmation; do not assume the request is covered just because it is at a business address. The FAQ explains why a little detail matters.
Who should still have a key?
A staff handover may create a key-control question even when the hardware works. Count the entrances involved and identify the person who approves the proposed arrangement. Keep any tenancy or property-management requirements in the discussion.
If the aim is to stop earlier keys from working, ask about rekeying existing locks. If the door itself catches or a handle feels loose, explain that symptom too. A key change will not automatically resolve a mechanical fault.
Plan around the actual entrance
Tell us whether customers will be using the door while the request is assessed, and whether someone can remain on site. Leave emergency exits and access routes clear. Any requirement tied to a particular door or building should be raised with the responsible property contact.
Discuss the proposed scope and charges before authorizing work. Our estimate questions can help you separate the callout, the agreed task and any parts under consideration. No price or outcome should be assumed from another business’s doorway.
